Monday 1st October, 2007 - One of these days, the duvet will win.
Tuesday 2nd October, 2007 - A large branch came down in the village churchyard, falling amidst ten or so headstones and didn't damage one of them.
Wednesday 3rd October, 2007 - Tufty the Squirrel was the main character in a series of animated shorts shown on BBC TV during the 70's to teach children about road safety. His friend Willy Weasel always spends most of his time getting run over by a car. I was about five at the time and watching it used to give me nightmares. I managed to avoid flattening the squirrel in the road on my way home tonight though.
Thursday 4th October, 2007 - Saw this today, a cat in the middle of nowhere, perched on top of a milestone. I should have offered it a lift.
Friday 5th October, 2007 - First of the season's colds coming up maybe.
Saturday 6th October, 2007 - While I'm not scared of spiders, I don't particularly like them either.
Sunday 7th October, 2007 - The washing machine made a peculiar noise during the spin cycle, I fear for my sock count.
Monday 8th October, 2007 - It's been one of those days, sigh...
Tuesday 9th October, 2007 - Parked up for the winter.
Wednesday 10th October, 2007 - Or a darker version - full of shells/the beech tree/rains squirrels
Thursday 11th October, 2007 - Please excuse the pun, it smells almost as bad as the dustbins put out for collection.
Friday 12th October, 2007 - They sit on my porch and I'm sure they do it deliberately!
Saturday 13th october, 2007 - Went for a trip to Stewartby Lakes to photograph scenery, but found that there was powerboat racing time trials going on instead.
Sunday 14th October, 2007 - The sunny weather seems to bring out all the cyclists.
Monday 15th October, 2007 - I live under the flightpath to an airport, more aircraft seem to land in the evening than during the day.
Tuesday 16th October, 2007 - Had friends visiting today, couldn't go out anywhere due to the rain.
Wednesday 17th October, 2007 - Yearly performance review at work today, seems to have gone ok. This one was very nearly "yearly review/heart and bowels lighter/going home" but I didn't want to put that image in your minds...
Thursday 18th October, 2007 - I think I enjoyed the brewery tour too much...
Friday 19th October, 2007 - Driving down to visit my parents in the dark.
Saturday 20th October, 2007 - Went on a trip to look for something to take photos of, found an abandoned car about a mile up a muddy woodland track.
Sunday 21st October, 2007 - A quick walk before dinner, I had to look several times to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.
Monday 22nd October, 2007 - There's a lot of deciduous trees around here, with just the odd lonesome pine.
Tuesday 23rd October, 2007 - Sorry, it's a bit of a bad day/week/month at work at the moment.
Wednesday 24th October, 2007 - Just managed to avoid dropping a heavy reference book on my foot. The "Art of Electronics" is a hefty tome!
Thursday 25th October, 2007 - Catching up with the backlog in my in-box.
Friday 26th October, 2007 - It was the village bell-ringer's practise night, and after that, the Three Horseshoes...
Saturday 27th October, 2007 - Talking to *Laurence55 about one of his haiku reminded me of my Gran. So, this one is in memory of a sweet lady.
Sunday 28th October, 2007 - Got home from from visiting my parents, different flocks of birds were gathering in different trees, starlings, jackdaws, finches... It was quite spooky actually.
Monday 29th October, 2007 - Watching the birdies on an evening stroll.
Tuesday 30th October, 2007 - Seems to be a lot of tawny owls around this year.
Wednesday 31st October, 2007 - Luke's Lane, about two miles from my house was the site of a hanging in the 18th Century. Thomas Colley was tried and executed for the murder of Ruth Osbourne, who had been accused of being a witch. His spirit is said to still haunt the lane in the form of a black dog. The full story can be found here ([link]). Luckily, in this case it was simply someone walking their labrador.

I love warm duvets! Especially when it's really cold out!

Great way to kick off the event! :w00t:

ヒスイ:私の天使 ♥
Always look on the bright side... there's more light there and it's easier to find stuff.
I do too :) It's even worse when I know I've got something boring going on at work.

The coffee tastes better when the latrines are dug downstream.

...So lucky to have rain though... hasn't rained here in weeks. Means no excuse for missing class lol.

Dude. I now have a sig.
Sweet!
Now if only I could have a Stig.....
Yes indeed, but it does make it incredibly difficult to get out of bed in the mornings :)

Hehe, it'd be nice to get a bit of good weather here, I think there's been about four dry days in the last two months or so. Can we swap some weather?

:jsenn:Don't try to see me--for all there is to see is a mere shell. Look at me through bone and flesh and see what is indeed the true me. :bookdiva:
Once I recalled what a duvet was, this made a lot more sense.

Snuggling up under the duvet with someone special on those cold autumn nights. Ahhh!
