My good friend :iconwivelrod: took this at the Tilford: Village at War event a few months ago. It is used with his permission and the original can be found here - [link]

I was tempted to use these for my ID -

The Archvillian [link]

and

The Fool [link]

As well as his dA stuff, Wivvy has a gallery that can be found here: [link]

It's always fun to dress up in vintage gear occassionally :) The camera still takes amazingly sharp pictures too.

Hey, I recognise this picture from somewhere... :P

The "Prat in the Cat" shot makes me chuckle every time I see it ;)

Hi Phil  Nice camera! As for an ID I would use the first link.....

After using the Rolleiflex, I can see why people rate them. It has it's Idiosyncrasies such as you can't change the shutter speed between 1/50th and 1/10th without the shutter being cocked (all the other speeds don't require this) but it takes beautifully sharp pictures, not bad for something that's 75 years old :)

I've been told there's another one of you floating around out there but I just haven't tried to go see through the link yet. I rather like to think of you like this. :floating:

I had a fedora once. I got it from my brother (who's name is Phil :)). It was tan with a brown band. I remember once I drove a hundred miles to retrieve it when I forgot it at someone's house. Don't know what ever happened to it. . .

I love the outfit! I often lament that fedoras are not in style in the era I find myself... And the vintage accouterments are snazzy!

I'm rather fond of the hat myself. One of my uncle's gave me the coat when he moved to Spain, said he didn't need a big warm coat any more, one putting it on for the first time I knew it needed a hat, and the type that hat needed to be. I found one in a local department store :)

I've run some film through the camera too,it produces so really nice pictures.

Cheers for the :+fav: too :)

I think you made the right choice although the others are fun too. You look too nice to be an arch villain. That's a really smart costume.

Thank you :)

The costume is pretty much thrown together - I got the coat from an uncle who didn't need it anymore as he was moving to Spain, the hat came from Debenhams, the waistcoat from ebay and the shirt, shoes and tie are my work clothes :)

Seems to hang together ok though :)

You could wear it everyday. Although it might be a bit warm in the summer.

The coat and sometimes the hat do get worn in late Autumn and Winter sometimes.
