Bounty
The onset of Spring finds me
engorged with fresh flowers,
their petals shade my vision.
Turning inwards, I watch the
vines of my fertile thoughts
and feel tremors of fertility
coiling through and
out my ears and navel
and every other breach.
Dislodged savory for the suitors
who still wear their chilblains
of Winter like epaulets,
their thin cracked lips,
taciturn and bleeding for my
suckling breasts of green limes.
Knowingly available, my body
awakening with its risen grain that
you seek the tender most fragrance of,
yearning for the still unripe fruit
that hangs high, and would little and
bitter yield to slake one's thirst.

Literature
Epoch
ghostly scatterings of blackbirds-
hallucinations in their wake,
like the low-lying fog
below the clouds
just before rain comes
and plays blues in the streets,
filling the gutters
where uranium fish glow,
while in blows the sweet scent
of new grass and sage, secreted
in the alleys of abandoned chaos
that cover bygone seasons
of attempt and loss-
the baritone of wind through
the nostrils of the old tree
where I stand under its limbs
of sparse buds
(perhaps the last year)
to a chorus of knuckles cracking
from the slow heavy drips on
the hood of my Mackintosh;
a yellow jacket flying amidst
the gray morning
of an empty Sunday,
waiting in the eye of
the epoch of our spring
with its audacious need
to be born, even if by breech
to the sound of racing footsteps,
the scree of lightning,
and the clank of forceps

April Twelfth Poet Tree
In the poet tree
grow fruits of imagery
and bugs of metaphor
endlessly they gnaw
while gnarly grows
the bark of prose
and emotions raw
scatter the floor
of the orchard where
the ones who care
come to eat
the tempting sweet
but all they do is cry
then die.

Still Not Dead Yet

Journal Entry: Mon Nov 19, 2012, 11:39 AM
Well, the Doctor thinks it's stress which probably explains my complete lack of enthusiasm for anything at the moment. Currently trying to remove the largest sources of stress from my life at the moment so looking for a new job as that's by far the biggest.

Went out for the weekend with my camera just trying to take my mind off things. So here's some pictures of street art in Milton Keynes (Saturday) and the Red Kites of Princes Risborough (Sunday).

Oh yeah, and one picture of my brother's dog, Wally :)
